Whether planning a vacation, a business trip, or just a weekend away, peace of mind can make all the difference in the quality of your time away.  We can help you by providing the best vacation experience possible for your pet.  At Marta's Vineyard Canine Resort we will provide you with a highly trained and caring staff.  We will adhere to the high standards set forth by the American Boarding Kennel Association to ensure that your pet is accommodated in a clean and safe environment. The Resort is named in honor of Marta, an English Hunting dog who was a long time family companion.  We are state licensed and inspected.   

     Marta's Vineyard Canine Resort is veterinarian owned by Dr. Peter Antosiewicz, Director of Valley Veterinary Hospital and Squibnocket Animal Center.  Marta's was specifically created as a separate facility from our hospitals so that pets can receive the best care and vacation services without being overshadowed by medical cases.

     Marta's has a fanstastic team of employees, most of whom have been with the resort since it opened in 1996.  We take great pride in our staff, who are certified pet care technicians through the Pet Care Services Association.  In addition, the management team, all of whom have a four year college degree, have taken continuing education courses every year through vin.com, avma, aaha, cvma and the Pet Care Services Association, receiving numerous certifications and currently persuing certification as veterinary technicians and dog trainers through the CVMA Penn Foster University. This is to ensure the highest professional care for your pet.  Many of our clients will also see our managers and pet technicians working at Squibnocket Animal Center, located on the premises, for ongoing veterinary medical training to ensure competence and knowledge while caring for your pet.  

     Marta's Vineyard Canine Resort is located on 5 1/2 beautifully maintained acres, with ten large grass play yards that are securely protected & camera surveillanced 24/7 for your pet's safety.  What a great way for your pet to relax and enjoy vacation time!  Exercise is included in our rates and your pet will be able to enjoy the outdoors in one of our supersized resort yards.  

       Valley Veterinary Hospital and Squibnocket Animal Center  have teamed with Marta's to ensure the highest quality services while your pet is in our care.  Squibnocket Animal Center is conveniently located next door to Marta's Vineyard Canine Resort.  If you are their client and need any medical or non-medical supplies, need to make an appointment for upcoming medical services, or need proof of vaccinations/bloodwork let us know and we will have everything prepared for you prior to your pet's boarding.  And, if your pet is receiving ongoing acupuncture or rehabilitation services from Squibnocket Animal Center, let us know your scheduled appointment times and we will make sure your pet receives the scheduled services!  Should your pet require any general medical or emergency services, Squibnocket Animal Center is available.  Marta's is offering a gift certificate to all new clients to either animal hospital.  Let them know you visited our website!
